Our Journey

With nearly a decade of experience as a Registered Nurse in both Aotearoa and the United Kingdom, I embarked on my freelance writing journey in 2018. It all started with nursing articles that gained significant traction, attracting over 150,000 readers. This success led me to create nursing e-books aimed at helping overseas nurses register in the UK.

It was during this time that I discovered my passion for digital storytelling - blending strategy, design, and copy to build brands that genuinely connect!

As I ventured into social media, I quickly gained attention, attracting hundreds of thousands of views, comments, and followers on TikTok. My love for writing led me to start my own blog, where I documented my journey through nursing and motherhood. Along the way, I dove deep into content creation, mastering algorithms and learning the ins and outs of social media. This effort resulted in landing my first social media client, which eventually grew to two, three, and beyond.

Today, I am the proud founder of Social & Co Studio, where we help businesses show up authentically and purposefully online.

Growing up in a family of business owners, I understand the challenges of entrepreneurship. Twenty years ago, owning a business was much more simple. You provided a product or service, and the customer paid. But in the digital age of 2025, running a business is far more complex, yet more rewarding and accessible than ever before.
